Mario Circuit is the second course of the Flower Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and the home course of Mario. It is the first Mario-themed track to feature a Chain Chomp, and Mario Circuit also features Piranha Plants that lunge at nearby racer as well as Goombas patrolling the sandy hills area. In multiplayer mode, the first set of Piranha Plants are gone.
This track appears as the final retro course of the Leaf Cup in Mario Kart Wii, as GCN Mario Circuit, having little difference from the original game. The graphics are improved and you can now perform Tricks off of the bumps in the Goomba area and on the bridge/ramp right before the starting line.
Trivia[]
- This Mario Circuit was originally going to be in Mario Kart DS, but was replaced by Mushroom Bridge probably either in honor of its uniquely added Mario Circuit or to avoid using all three circuit courses from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as a Retro Course in a single Mario Kart game.
- This was originally the first track in the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (as seen in the Multi-Game Demo Disc Demo), but was changed to Luigi Circuit for unknown reasons.
