Mario Can-Can is a 2 vs. 2 Mini-game that appears in Mario Party 5. Like other minigames of its type, it can be triggered by having two characters land on the same colour space and selecting its name on the roulette wheel.

Gameplay[]

In Mario Can-Can, characters work together in two sets of teams and try to open a giant can with a can opener. At the beginning of the mini-game, a random can is chosen for the characters to open. They must open the can with a giant can opener that is similar to a teeter-totter. Each team must alternate using the Ground Pound move on their side of the can opener in order to open the can. The team that opens the can first will win the mini-game. Depending on the can the team opened, a random surprise will pop out of it including a bunch of flowers, an array of candy, or a Thwomp, though these are just aesthetics. The winner gets a certain amount of coins.
