Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is the Wii home console release of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, released in 2009 on the same day as the Nintendo DS version in most countries. It follows after Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, the Wii version in particular. It was created to coincide with the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver, Canada.
The game is similar to the original, but with different events, new characters and several big changes in gameplay and control schemes.
