Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - Arcade Edition is the second arcade installment within the Mario & Sonic series, following after Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Arcade Edition, and the arcade counterpart to the Nintendo Switch game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. It was first released in Japan in January 2020, then in English-speaking countries a year later, in January 2021.
Like its home counterpart, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - Arcade Edition features events featured within the 2020 Summer Olympics and 1964 Summer Olympics, both of which took place in Tokyo, Japan.
