MarioWiki:Requests for adminship/Lower Rank 1

Hello, my name is Lower Rank 1, this may be a little bit too fast, but I feel like I want to ask for administrator rights for the reasons as below. First, I saw that many users are complaining in the discussions saying that there are too less administrators, showing that they are upset. We currently only have Scarlet Pairo and ZeoSpark as active administrators, that made the users feel that there are not enough moderators. I do not want to see Mariowiki users being upset since this wiki should be a place for people to discuss about Mario happily, and people say that I am the most active user here, so if I become an administrator, I might be able to make those upset users happy again and stop complaining.

I also have to admit that it was actually Sawman71211 and Scarlet Pairo who suggested me to be an administrator after I suggested Scarlet Pairo to be one, they said that I am going to be a good administrator, I have been a Content Moderator for over two months and I have more than two thousand edits as Mariowiki requested.

About the wikis content, because our administrators also have job to do in real life, they were not able to see a case that happened a few days ago which is a user continuously creating a fanon page, after me deleting and protecting the fanon page, the vandal started to swear and taunt me, and was not blocked until our administrators saw that, so I can deal with that kinds of users if I am an administrator.

About the discussions, there were users that are posting off-topic posts or even inappropriate posts, and because our administrators were not able to deal with them immediately, they went further and started to taunt other users and even made fun of our moderators. I was also once a young viewer of Mariowiki, and when I see these cases occur, I feel really scared and feel that this wiki is not safe, so if I am an administrator, I may block the users right after they act bad and this will not scare any kid viewers, that will also make kid viewers to still view Mariowiki and not just leave directly.

Well, I actually have to apologize to ZeoSpark, due to the fact that I might be a little aggressive, I am not going to make excuses, but I want to tell you that I am currently 14 years old, so I am facing puberty as my friends are. Yes, I just want to let you know why some times I am a bit aggressive and easily annoyed.

I might not be able to be twenty four hours active on Mariowiki, but I promise that I will definitely do my best to make Mariowiki a great place for either kids or adults, I will do my best to make Mariowiki thrive.

• Support - I believe you would make for a good admin. You basically described all the reasons Mariowiki would want you and you have been an active and mostly friendly user here. However, here is one thing I want you to keep in mind. Do not actively try to get someone demoted, like ehat you are trying with Derek. If you feel like he made some mistakes, either confront him or ask us to talk about it with him. Besides, you haven't been very aggressive lately. I'm giving you a chance, so please, use it :)

• Support I am pretty much gonna say that I am gonna support his request no matter what. From all I see is that Kyojuro is a nice, joyful and a friendly user, I bet that he will be able to handle the rights properly. Yes, he has been nice to me and other users, and I don't see him abusing content moderator rights at all, he is definitely gonna use admin rights wisely, so here is my support! • Oppose Not sure if this has already been decided, but I've found Lower Rank 1 to be an oversensitive user, and that's the last thing we need right now. Lower Rank 1 is usually pretty cool, but i've had bad experiences in the past with oversensitive mods (on this wiki) and I don't want to go through that again. User:Titanium Archer/Signature
• Oppose Yeah. Sorry, but after thinking it over, I don't think you're ready to be an admin anytime soon. You're way too aggressive and hostile toward users in the discussions, and you tend to take things way out of context (pretty much like Titanium said, being too sensitive). I also didn't like how you posted a thread saying how much you hate Derek. I can't promote someone to a role that has open hatred for another user, especially if that user is another admin. You really need to learn when to calm down when things get out of hand, because that's what an admin is about: Knowing when to step in and handle things rationally when they can. I feel like if I gave you admin rights, you may very well abuse the blocking tool toward those that disagree with you, and that will just scare users off from the wiki which is something I'd rather avoid. Comment Sorry for making this a comment first, but I did want to make sure to clear up some things before I would support. I really hope you would put the whole Derek thing behind you because that is one of the main reasons why I'm a bit hesitant in your request. And to be sure you won't edit like the CSS freely. I'd really want to stress that I would like to be notified whenever you make a change, because last time I wasn't, the whole wiki was really messed up (it was part of an April Fools prank years ago but it made editing the wiki impossible) and I just want to be sure things like that won't happen again.

Edit: Just a minor thing to bring up, but I am counting your actions in discussions as well and you shouldn't be too hostile toward others if they bring up something you're against. I'm trying to make sure you're getting along with everyone as admins need to be able to do that.

Comment Well, I am putting the Derek issue behind temporarily because as you can see, he is not active now so there is no point of trying to get his apologize now. And, yes I get along with anyone in discussions unless they do something unacceptable. Last, April Fools?
