Conker's Bad Fur Day (Adminship)

Ends January 26, 2012 Hello. I am Conker's Bad Fur Day, a contributor here since April 2011. I have done many things to help the wiki, infoboxes, cleanup, images, etc. Thanks to everyone else who has helped too. I feel I am ready and I will happily keep this place good when I am a sysop. I have good faith, never flamed anyone, etc. I might have made some mistakes, but I have learned from them and I have learned from them. Retrying as RR6W said that its time.

Oppose - No. There's absolutely no reason for a new administrator. There's no need in a small community like ours to have more administration, more of that just leads to more tedious bureaucratic actions and processes. Conker, you're a good editor and you're still quite active, but I don't think MarioWiki is in need of an administrator; I suppose you could make it as a Rollback, though. — Wattz2000 22:28, January 19, 2012 (UTC)

Comment I'm going to provide a little analysis not on Conker's Bad Fur Day but rather whether the wiki truly needs another admin. It is true that it would appear to one that the wiki wouldn't have much use for another admin. However, from experience, it is good to have a couple back ups. You don't want to look around one day and find out that you are suddenly down to one admin (that is always nice). However, this was simply in regards to the statement that there are enough admins. Ends 7 June 2012 This squirrel having a bad fur day has been the most active editor here for a while now. He has more edits than any other crat here, and is extremely active. I told myself I wouldn't do this until a good while into my editing here, seeing as I resigned from my position as administrator in a dramatic way. I'm actually going to explain what happened during that time When I was an administrator, it was because Count Caterpie was going to be inactive. However, he told me that he would still be semiactive and would be able to help me with things like blocking people, cleaning up vandalism, and the like. However, after a bit of time I couldn't stay on the wiki for much. Not many people, or possibly anyone at that time, although I think Wattz knew some of what was going on. Basically, I have depression and as such I was busy with handling my life. I would lurk in Community Central Chat because I was a chat mod at the time. As well as my depression, I had a boyfriend and I was preoccupied with him and how bad he made me feel. That's besides the point. I demoted myself because I couldn't handle the stress of the wiki plus he stress of my boyfriend, and the stress of my depression. I was asked multiple times by multiple people to delete this page, block that user, protect this page, warn that user. It was a lot to handle with everything else I had to deal with.

So that explains and clears up why I demoted myself, and why I projected what I was feeling by calling the wiki fail. I felt like a failure as an admin, and was projecting that by calling the wiki in general fail.

With recent events, I figured that there could be use of another person who can clean up vandalism. I know how to use the rollback tool as I have had rollback rights on Zeldapedia for almost two years. I'm a trusted user throughout multiple communities and I know how wikitext and the like works. I also help out this wiki a lot, a lot more than I used to.

In short, I'd like to be trusted with rollback rights again as I know how the right works and I am capable of using said right without abusing it.

I truly hope you consider this request.

Support: I'd like to see rollbackers more prominent around here ^^ I know it's off-topic to put it here, but I'd like to clean-up the current rollback first (though, I feel CoCat and MG could stay with rollback). While I heard Wikia Staff tend not to, I'd like some of the old crats should lose that right as...I dun think they're really comin' back... BUT ANYWAYS, I feel that Jazzi can be trusted with rollback. It doesn't hurt to have more help to clean-up stuff. ^^ – Wattz2000 02:06, January 19, 2013 (UTC)

			I am perfectly capable with the admin rights (I am Mario Kart Racing Wiki's bureaucrat and an admin of Nintendo Wiki). I also have a long experience in formatting/syntax, as demonstrated with my signature burger, and wish to help out even further. I see by looking above I need to have been here a month and have at least 100 edits; well, for a time, I held the highest edit count of anyone on the Wiki.

Oppose: I have a few valid reasons as to why I feel you shouldn't be trusted with administrative rights. The first would be your first RfA and your second. You may notice your statement in the first RfA I am perfectly capable with the admin rights (I am an admin on SNN) and have welcomed a hell of a lot of users. I also have a long experience in formatting/syntax, as demonstrated with my signature burger, and wish to help out even further. I see by looking above I need to have at least 100 edits and have been here a month, which I have been. I am here quite often as well and have the eighth-highest edit count. is almost exactly the same as your current one. You haven't taken your time to state why you should be given the rights or why you would like the rights. You really don't provide much at all. And you seem to be hounding for rights, it just doesn't seem right. Additionally, the last time you edited was on June 30, 2012. Oppose: I must agree with Wattz and Jazzi. As much as I like you (haha), I seriously do not think it works for you to walk into MarioWiki randomly after a couple of years and then decide you're going to run for adminship.

You've had only 100 actual mainspace edits your whole entire account life on this wiki, and that clearly is not enough to even begin to think about giving you adminship.

And Jazzi pointed out how one of the previous RfAs you made had nearly the exact same reason for why you should become an admin. And that just blows it, honestly.

If you can get buttload more of mainspace edits and prove yourself a trustworthy, honest, and confident user, I will take into consideration of promoting you to adminship. But you unfortunately have not proven any of that, so obviously there's not much more to say here than... no. I won't vote, seeing as how I do not believe in democracy, but from past experience I can vouch for this person being completely unfitting for any position of authority due to being borderline obtuse when it comes to arguments. Maybe you should incorporate a certain threshold of aesthetics for this position as well. Hello; I am hoping to become an admin of this wiki. I have helped out many times on here espically with the Paper Mario: Sticker related pages. I am also here nearly everyday hoping to add more to pages. I alsohelp out in creating new pages. Oppose Sorry dude. Not now. As amazing of a help as you've been (you've been a great editor), taking on adminship is a big thing and I don't think you've been here long enough for me to say yes. I don't know you really well yet, and I'm not sure I can trust you. But I'll agree with Wattz, rollback I will support.
