The Manual of Style's Level page provides a layout on how the level articles should be done. The page will break down each heading to help you understand what information must be placed there. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page.

Headings[]

This section is where you can add Icon and Youmay before the infobox. Q can go after the infobox. You can add Infobox Level from the preload templates on Source Editor. After the infobox, you can summarise what the level is and its first appearance. The name of the level must be bold. If it is possible to add the Japanese name of the level, use Nihongo.

Layout[]

In <insert game or series name here>
Add this heading if the level appeared in more than one game, including if it is within a series. If grouping a level's appearance by series, the subheading will have italics and a link to the game. (ex. === Super Mario Bros. ===) It is important to describe their role in each game.
Layout
Describes the features and layout of the level. If the level has made only one appearance, the In <insert game or series name here> heading is unnecessary, and therefore Layout and any other subheadings that it would generally fall under should instead each be their own heading. Games that feature a level as a setting or as a general location do not need this subheading.
Enemies
Provide a list of enemies here. This should be done by creating sub-template of enemy table for said level in particular.
Add other appropriate headings pertaining to a level
For example, the Super Mario World level articles can have a ===Dragon Coins=== to list where all of the different Dragon Coins are located.
Crossover appearances
Add this heading for any appearances the level has made. The subheading will have italics and a link to the game (ex. === Tetris DS ===) or of the series and any games falling under it (ex. ===Super Smash Bros.=== followed by ====Super Smash Bros. Brawl====). Provide details about the level under each appropriate game subheading.
In other media
List any appearances that the level makes outside of video games (rarely applicable).
Behind the scenes
Creation and development
Describe the level's creation and development. If the level has a concept artwork, you may mention it.
Etymology
Write about the possible origin of the level's name. Mention how the name origin connects to the level. If the level's name does not have an origin, do not add this subheading. Also, it is worth noting that generically named levels, such as World 1-1, do not need this section.
Real-world influences
In pop culture
Describe how the level connects to modern society. For level pages, this is rarely applicable.
Reception
Describe different reviews on the level.
Timeline
It is often optional to add this heading, but if the level made multiple video game appearances, such as World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros., its individual appearances should be listed within Timeline.
Nomenclature
Add the level's names in different languages. Be sure to use Nomenclature when listing the names.
Trivia
Add facts that may not fit in either of the headings above, but appeal to the reader. They must be listed with asterisks.
Gallery
Add a gallery to the page or Gallery Link to the article.
References
If the articles have citations. You can only add Reflist.
See also
List related or similar articles by using asterisks.
External links
Add links that link to the same page on Fandom wikis or outside Fandom. The links must be listed with asterisks. (ex. Burt the Bashful's Fort on Yoshi Wiki.)
