This page will provide the layout on how the character articles should be done. The preload template can be used by clicking the Character link.
General
There are three types of characters in the series. There are the major characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Bowser who appeared in numerous of games. The next are the characters who appeared in more than two games. This include the characters who do not appear as often as the major characters but still have enough appearances in the series to have their own gallery page if necessary. Examples are Toadsworth, Captain Toad, and Toadette. Then there are the characters who only appeared in one game. Numerous of NPCs (non-playable characters) are examples of this if they have not appeared in any sequels. The following formats will apply to the different types of characters.
Structure
- Italics mean that the section is optional.
- Bold letters in green boxes, shows the name of the template.
- Bold letters in grey boxes, shows the mean of the heading.
