A Magmite is an enemy in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Magmites are a variant of Buzzy Beetles with a rock shell, and they only appear in Moleville Mines. Magmites have stronger relatives called Magmus, which they share an artwork image with, although Magmus have a more red-tinted sprite.
Battle[]
In battle, Magmites only attack by charging at one of Mario's party members. Magmites are known for their high defense at the point when they are encountered.
Strategy[]
Although Magmites are weak against ice attacks, Mallow does not have Snowy at the point when Magmites are encountered. Magmites also resists Mario's Jump attacks, so the best way to handle Magmites is to attack them physically.
