Magmagical Journey! is a minigame from Mario Party 7. As it is a Bowser minigame, it is unavailable until someone triggers a Bowser Space and the minigame is selected on the roulette wheel.

Layout[]

Magmagical Journey! takes place in a lava cavern that has rock platforms sticking out of the lava. Bowser sits on a throne at the northern end, while the player characters start at the southern end.

Opening[]

Bowser points forwards from his throne. The camera quickly pans to the southern end of the cavern, where the characters are dropped in.

Gameplay[]

The characters are forced to traverse the lava cavern and have to make it to the other end. As the characters head forward, the lava landmasses will sink, so the characters must keep moving. Throughout the course, Koopa Kid and his brethren will man cannons on carts, with cursors showing where their attacks will be concentrated. If the characters get shot or touch the lava, they die, resulting in an automatic loss.

Ending[]

Survivors celebrate at the end while Bowser sulks. The game can end without a loser, but if there is no winner, Bowser celebrates his own victory.

In-game description[]

The standard rules state: "Hop across the rocks to reach the goal, but watch for the attacks of the Koopa Kids!"

Viewing the game's advice reveals: "The rocks will eventually sink into the lava, so keep moving!"

Controls[]

The grey control stick determines movement, while the A button is used to Jump.

Names in other Languages[]
