Madrid Drive is a race course from Mario Kart Tour, debuting in the Summer Tour of 2023. As its name implies, it is set in Madrid, the capital of Spain (Spanish: España). Madrid Drive's music heavily utilises acoustic guitars and claps that resemble traditional Spanish flamenco music.

Layout[]

Madrid Drive has two routes currently, both first appearing in the Summer Tour of 2023. Wigglers and Thwomps are featured predominantly here. The course's starting line uses the Royal Palace of Madrid for the gate design and resembles the Puerta del Sol (Sun Gate). Many areas such as the Puerta de Alcalá (Spanish for Alcalá Gate) and el Parco Retiro (Retiro Park) are visited.

At the western edge of the city is a looping path, to the south of which lies the San Miguel market. A stadium lurks in the northern regions, where a Goomba team is playing soccer. The south half of the city features more locales like la Plaza Mayor (the Town Square) and the Madrid Atocha station, a famous train station in Madrid. The far east end features the Retiro park, which has a Glide Ramp so the racers can fly over the water. Between the stadium and the train station lies the Prado Museum, where paintings of various Mario characters can be found. The starting line lies on a path leading east-west in the centre of the track.

Madrid Drive 1 features the spiral loop to the west of the starting line and the soccer stadium. Madrid Drive 2 brings the spiral loop, the San Miguel market, the Retiro Park, and la Plaza Mayor (Town Square) into focus. Madrid Drive 3 puts focus on la Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, and the Atocha station.
