Madam Merlar is a character that appears in Paper Mario. She is an ancestor of Merlon and her spirit resides in a hidden room of Shiver Mountain.
History
Madam Merlar is first seen after Mario talks with her after getting past the fake wall. She then tells a long story (that puts Mario to sleep) about her past life before giving him the Star Stone to help reveal the way to the Crystal Palace.
