A Mad Boo is an enemy in Super Princess Peach.

Physical description[]

Mad Boos are a variant of Boo, which they resemble, except they have entirely orange eyes.

Behavior[]

A Mad Boo is under the effects of the Rage vibe. Mad Boos have the opposite behavior of regular Boos in that they only chase Peach if she is facing them, a type of behavior also present in their variant, Mad Big Boos. Coincidentally, in Super Mario Maker 2, the Boos in the nighttime Ground theme have the exact behavior of Mad Boos.

In Super Princess Peach[]

Mad Boos are first encountered in the level Shriek Mansion 3-5. Peach can only defeat a Mad Boo from the effects of the Rage vibe.
