Mach Bike is a medium bike which appears in Mario Kart Wii.

Description

The Mach Bike is a fast bike with the highest drift and mini-turbo stats in Mario Kart Wii. It does not have the same speed as the Flame Runner, but the outstanding mini-turbo boosts compensates for this.

Color schemes

Like all karts and bikes in Mario Kart Wii, the Mach Bike has different color schemes depending on the racer, as listed in the table below.

Mario's Mach Bike has a black upper-half, red-brown lower-half and windshield

Luigi's Mach Bike has a green upper-half and windshield, and black lower-half

Princess Peach's Mach Bike has a pink upper-half, purple lower-half, and hot pink windshield

Princess Daisy's Mach Bike has a pale orange upper-half, orange lower-half, and windshield

Yoshi's Mach Bike has a white upper-half, green lower-half, and blue windshield

The Mach Bike is one of the mediumweight bikes available at the start of the game.

The Mach Bike is the vehicle used by the expert Staff Ghosts' character at Luigi Circuit, Moonview Highway and Daisy Circuit, specifically Luigi by Nin★Uta♪, Princess Peach by Nin★Koh, and Princess Daisy by Nin★Taeko, respectively.

In The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Princess Peach rides a Mach Bike in The Super Mario Bros. Movie which references her Mario Kart Wii artwork. She used it to drive over Rainbow Road.

Real-world influences

The Mach Bike has been considered the most optimal bike in Mario Kart Wii due to its high speed and high drift. Daisy is the most common racer used for the Mach Bike for having the highest speed of all mediumweights. The Mach Bike had world records on tracks requiring a lot of drifting or that rely more on the Mini-turbo stat than the speed stat, such as Mario Circuit 3.
