The Fan Blow Luigination technique.
Luigination (also referred to as Luiginary) is a technique used in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. This technique is used by Dreamy Luigi while Mario is in Luigi's dreams. Prince Dreambert first teaches this technique when Mario and Dreamy Luigi enter a certain room. While using Luigination, the player must use the Touch Screen (with Starlow assisting from outside) to activate certain parts on Luigi's faces that affects certain objects inside Luigi's dreams. The player must also push the "R" button first before Dreamy Luigi can get into a certain object.
Also, special type of Luiginations can be used from Dreampoints located in certain areas of the game.
The name is a pun on "imagination," but with Luigi's name substituted as the prefix.
Types[]
There are different types of this that can be Luiginated:
Branch Fling[]
This technique can be used by pulling on Luigi's mustache. Dreamy Luigi can also enter a sign-like object with two branches. With this, Mario can be flung to higher platforms that his normal jump cannot reach.
Fan Blow[]
This technique can be used by rubbing Luigi's nose. Dreamy Luigi can also enter fan-like objects in the background. With these, far away items such as blocks can be blown into view that Mario can jump over.
Cylinder[]
This technique can be used by pulling or pushing Luigi's nose clockwise or counter clockwise. Dreamy Luigi has to enter a Cylinder object and then Mario can go down or up depending on what way the player pull or push his nose.
Speedometer[]
The speedometer is the only Luigination technique that can't be used on Luigi's former self. This can be used to speed Mario up to easily go along conveyors and do red coin challenges easier. It can also make Mario slow down to jump higher and fall slower. This is also used to help beat the clock in certain areas to hit the Dice Block.
