The Lucky Seven is an item from Mario Kart 7. The item is a red '7'. As its name implies, the Lucky Seven gives the player seven items such as a Green Shell, a Red Shell, a Banana, a Bob-omb, a Star, a Mushroom, and a Blooper. The items spin around the player. It is also in the title of Mario Kart 7. The item returns in Mario Kart Tour.

- CPU players cannot get this item, unless a specific type of item in Battle Mode or VS is selected (e.g. Bananas, Red Shells, Mushrooms and Bob-ombs).
- The Lucky Seven is similar to the Crazy Eight in Mario Kart 8, except the Coin is not added.
- Other players can use your items if they manage to carefully bump into them. This however only works with the Star, Mushroom, and Blooper.
- In Mario Kart Tour, this is the special item for Pauline and King Boo.
