Mario Party

Lucky Lineup is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 5.

Gameplay[]

The objective of the minigame is to obtain the highest score possible by lining up the slot wheels. A total of four different pictures appears in the slot wheel: a Koopa Shell, a Cherry, a lucky 7, or a Star; the first three are worth five, ten, and fifty points respectively, while the Star is a wildcard. The characters must hit a block eight times, although the results are luck-based. The pictures can be lined up either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Because it is a wildcard, the star, which is in the middle of the slot, can represent any of the other slots, so if two of the same slots are earned both above the star and below it, the game counts it as a full lineup. If a character simultaneously gets two of the same diagonally, the star can match both, even if they are different. Whoever has the most points by the end is the winner.
