Lubba (ルーバ Lubba^?) is a purple Luma. He is quite large in comparison to the other lumas and is the owner of Starship Mario. He first appeared in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Lubba makes his first appearance when Mario meets him upon completing the Sky Station Galaxy's first mission, Pee Wee Piranha's Temper Tantrum, and making his way to Starship Mario, which Lubba and his crew were working on.

Physical appearance

Lubba is a Purple Luma with light blue eyes and some blue pants. It also has a pink orb on his head while it is shining. His pants have a checker-like pattern of dark and light blue diamonds, along with dark blue stitches at the elastic of the pants.

Lubba and Rosalina have met at some point, however it is unclear how and when.

Biography

Lubba, a large Luma who is a mechanic, engineer and pilot. He is best known for his work on Starship Mario. He often gives Mario information on what happens. Lubba is shown to have a good sense of humor, as he cracks jokes occasionally, such as calling Starship Mario a "faceship." Lubba also watches over Mario, telling him that he should take breaks often as to not get frustrated.

In Mario Golf: World Tour

In Mario Golf: World Tour, if Rosalina successfully performs an "Eagle!", Lubba will appear along with the other Lumas in the animation.
