London Loop 2 is a race course that was first seen in Mario Kart Tour. It is the second layout of London Loop, hence the number 2 in the name, and made its debut in 2020.
Layout[]
As in London Loop's first layout, the racers start this course on the Westminster bridge, with the Big Ben Clocktower on the right. However, they go straight ahead (The path to the roundabout is blocked off.) and go through a dirt road that does a slight right followed by a left, passing through a grassy park called St. James' Park where Chain Chomps lurk. The Buckingham Palace is visible close by. After a 220-degree right turn, the racers exit the park and make a left turn onto a street, with a fence blocking off the path that they would have taken if they went straight. (This blocked path would also lead to the roundabout.) The racers drive down a long road, taking a left and two right turns. Eventually, they will come across a drop, with a monument known as "The Shard" visible in the background. After the drop, the racers will turn right and follow London Loop 1 in reverse through the Trafalgar Square Area, only to continue straight after a slight left curve. This is followed by another right turn which leads to the Waterloo Bridge, where the racers pass a Ferris wheel called the "London Eye," then a right turn onto the Westminster Bridge, where the starting line awaits.
In the Booster Course Pass, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of Mario Kart 8, the racers traverse this route for the second lap of London Loop.
