The Lily Pad Ride is a secret course featured in Super Mario Sunshine. It can only accessed via a Warp Pipe on a deserted island in Delfino Plaza, although it is blocked by an Orange Juice Generator that only Yoshi can get rid of.
The Lily Pad Ride is infamous for not only taking effort to access, but is often regarded as one of the hardest parts in Super Mario Sunshine, due to the difficulty of steering the Lily Pad.
Description[]
The course takes place in an enclosed poisonous river located high above the clouds in the sky. The poisonous water appears to go through a drain that descends down the sky in the form of a waterfall. The Lily Pad Ride somehow has a Warp Pipe at the end that leads back to Isle Delfino.
History[]
The Lily Pad Ride has only one Shine Sprite, which Mario can obtain by riding a Lily Pad across the Poisoned Water to collect eight red coins along the way.
