Lightning Spear

Lightning Spear is the Offensive Power Shot used by Shy Guy in Mario Power Tennis.

Description[]

Upon activating the move, Shy Guy becomes a Spear Guy and chants in front of the ball. The screen turns dark as a thunderbolt hits the ball, launching it into the air as a Lob Shot. A small star is briefly shown on the opponent's side to indicate where the ball will land. While this gives the receiver an easier advantage of returning the ball, it also electrocutes them temporarily, during which they are incapable of moving around.
