Template:Enemy Lava Bubble is a subspecies of Podoboo first appearing in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island whom if eaten, Yoshi gains the ability of the Red Watermelon allowing him to spew fire. Similar to Lava, they burn Yoshi if touched.

Lava Bubble also appears in the Paper Mario series where it can be found in Mt. Lavalava in the game Paper Mario, Pit of 100 Trials and the Pirate's Grotto in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and in the Underwhere in Super Paper Mario. They cannot be jumped on as Mario and co. take damage instead. Mario can use his hammer however.
