Lakitu Kings are enemies which appear in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. They are encountered in Bumpsy Plains.

Physical description[]
Lakitu Kings are a variant of Lakitus with gold stars on their cloud, a gold shell, and a gold crown on their heads.
Glam Lakitus look the same but with pink replacing the gold.
Combat[]
Due to their cloud vehicles, Lakitu Kings cannot be hit with ground-based attacks.
A Lakitu King attacks by throwing golden spike balls at the Bros., who must jump over them. The balls may occasionally be thrown high, changing their trajectory, so they must be ducked under (no input required). The Lakitu King may also throw coins. If the Lakitu King is not defeated quickly enough, he may escape.
A female variant known as the Glam Lakitu can be found in Blubble Lake. Her attacks and strategy are the same, but she is even stronger. As with their male counterparts, Glam Lakitus may escape if not beaten quickly enough.

The Lakitu King is a Level 7 monster with 90 hit points, an attack power of 45, a defense of 23, and a speed of 33, giving 50 experience upon defeat with normal chances and reactions to all status effects and the Sudden Death enchantment. His item drops include 20 coins with a gold ring in 1 in 2 kills and a set of Coin Boots in 1 in 5 kills.
The Glam Lakitu is a Level 13 monster with 208 hit points, an attack power of 76, a defense of 42, and a speed of 47, with normal reactions to all status effects and the Sudden Death enchantment. When defeated, she gives gives 60 experience and 40 coins, with the loot drop having a 50% chance to include a Gold Crown and a 30% chance to include the aforementioned Coin Boots.
