Koopa Krunch is a single-player minigame in Mario Party Advance.
Gameplay[]
Koopa Krunch features gameplay comparable to that of Tetris and Dr. Mario, namely from how the player has to match three identically colored Brick Blocks to earn points while preventing the structure from reaching the top of the grid. Green Shells sometimes fall into the grid, and they take up the same space as a Brick Block. Green Shells can only be removed by using a Red Shell to knock out as many of them as possible.
In Shroom City mode, the player must earn 300 points to win. In Mini-Game Attack, the object is to instead earn 1,000 points. In Play Land, the gameplay only ends when the Brick Blocks reach the top of the screen, meaning the object is to get the highest score possible. As time passes, the Brick Blocks fall down increasingly faster, and blue Brick Blocks begin to fall down the grid as well.
