Klubba is a Kremling whom, is surprisingly, an ally of Diddy and Dixie in their quest to rescue Donkey in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2.

Klubba is a giant Kremling whom is green like all the others and is a colour swap of Kudgel. It is unknown if the two are related in any sort of way. He holds a clubba (the word he is named after) in his hand and speaks in a stereotypical pirate accent in the games.

He guards the entrance to the Lost World. Though, despite his cruel acts, he also allows Diddy and Dixie to enter the Lost World if they pay him fifteen Kremkoins per world. If Diddy and Dixie don't pay him by selecting the "Fight Him" and "Run Away" options (identical options), he gets out his Klubba and smacks out the two from his own toll.

He also is a foe in a mini-game called Bag a Bug which is only exclusive to the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest where Diddy or Dixie must collect bugs while avoiding him at the same time. This mini-game costs five Banana Coins to play.

In his Donkey Kong Land 2 reappearance, two things have changed; he is now located on the left side of the screen instead of the right and is only found on the left side of Gloomy Gulch. Also, only forty seven Kremkoins are needed to be paid to access the Lost World as not as much Bonus Levels appear in the game.

Trivia

  • According to the game credits, Klubba belongs in the "Kremling Kuthroats" class.
  • While Klubba does not appear in Donkey Kong 64, the Krashes look exactly the same and even wield a clubba. Though, they lack pirate accents and have heads that look like Kritter's. They also have golden tummies.
