Klepto Ruins is a location in Mario Party Advance.
Description[]
Klepto Ruins is located in the Desert Area of Shroom City, although it can only be accessed by a pathway near the entrance to the Seaside Area. Klepto Ruins is a stone platform bearing some cracks and ancient glyphs containing the ruins' treasure. In the background, it is shown that Klepto Ruins is surrounded entirely by desert interspersed with stone pillars. The treasure is protected by the ruins' guardian, Klepto.
In Mario Party Advance[]
At some point during Shroom City mode, Mr. E visits Klepto Ruins in search of treasure. He asks for the player to help him search for treasure, and agreeing to help initiates the Treasure of Mystery! quest.
In the quest, Klepto quickly reveals the treasure's location when asked, and Mr. E asks the player to unlock it. The code is Klepto's verbal tic ("4444"). Once the treasure is opened, Mr. E leaves it alone before leaving, and Klepto gives the player the Map Maker Gaddget while leaving the actual treasure behind.
