King Watinga is a large robotic fly featured in the Gnat Attack minigame in Mario Paint. In the minigame, King Watinga is fought at the end of each level. He is capable of spawning Fly Children, suggesting that these are King Watinga's offspring. King Watinga can be defeated by swatting it twenty times. King Watinga later returned in the WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! full-fledged minigame Fly Swatter, a remake of Gnat Attack. King Watinga also reappears in the Gnat Attack in Super Mario Maker.
