King Clawdaddy is a Clawdaddy who was enlarged by Kamek's hammer.
Behavior[]
King Clawdaddy attacks by walking around and rotating his claws, similarly to a regular Clawdaddy. He also spits out harmless bubbles, although some of them contain a Shy Guy. Whenever King Clawdaddy is hit, he turns red out of anger, charges, and spins his claw before replacing the foam. He charges three times after the second hit, and produces more bubbles and Shy Guys with each hit.
In Yoshi's New Island[]
King Clawdaddy is fought as the boss of World 3, where Blue Yoshi encounters him at the end of King Clawdaddy's Sewer Castle. To avoid King Clawdaddy's claw attack, Blue Yoshi has to make use of the Large Donut Lifts. To attack King Clawdaddy, Blue Yoshi either has to lick it or throw eggs at the foam on King Clawdaddy's body, then he can hit King Clawdaddy with either an egg or a Shy Guy to damage him. Whenever King Clawdaddy is attacked, he charges into Blue Yoshi's direction. It takes three hits to defeat King Clawdaddy, therefore unlocking World 4.
