Yoshi

King Bowser's Castle is the final level of World 6 in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.

Layout[]

When Yoshi begins the level, he is an outdoor fortress zone with a very large moon, hills and thin trees in the backdrop. He then needs to go across a long space as Helicopter Yoshi. Along the way, he has to keep away from Skeleton Goonies; resulting in one of them will end him to fall (normally game over). Kamek also on occasion flies although, taxing to hit him to the sky. If he passes it to the Yoshi Block, which it is cooperation by a Middle Ring, where Kamek will travel through the air for the final time in the zone and gape at the Yoshi firmly. In the GBA version, he will simply go away.

The hallway shows the inside of his castle shows to a quickly spinning wheel with doors from number 1 to 4 to pick from. Yoshi needs to cuff with an egg, which it will let go to the floor and let him to progression. While Door 4 is the easiest path, the other three paths (Doors 1, 2, and 3) make the player work.

Doors[]

The first door includes generic enemies and obstacles (including a Sky Guy, Mace Guys, Ball 'n' Chains and lava pits).

The second door contains every species of a Sky Guy, and at the point is a door including a Slime, who will clutch the key to another door that shows to the final room.

The third door is important for the looks of Tap-Tap the Golden, where he run Yoshi through cave path filled with lava that automatically scroll. The "Castle Boss" music start playing in this zone, but in the GBA version, the "Room Before Boss" music will start playing. Yoshi can rap Tap-Tap the Golden tail end and into a pit with eggs, shop for him some time. Tap-Tap the Golden will reappear on screen in time, however. In the end, Yoshi will reach a Warp Pipe to stay away from him.

Door 4 consists predominantly of operating platforms that carry Coins (being a coin path where the player can earn a lot of extra lives). All Red Coins and Special Flowers are in plain sight. The only possible threats are a few Gusties that gallop through the stage and two Fly Guys at the end who move 1-Ups. This door is the easiest path. This door (Door 4) is the area the player probably may want to go to.

All four paths guide to the final room before the boss battle, a dark playroom where the "Room Before Boss" music will start playing. Kamek pop up here and tries to pounce Yoshi with his magic wand. If Kamek hits one of these blocks in the room with magic, it will turn into a Fang, a Milde, a Shy-Guy, or a Star. If Yoshi passes it through past his last shots, he will be rewarded with a Middle Ring and a huge door that guides to Baby Bowser's room.

Kamek meets Yoshi, angrily asking him that he hands over Baby Mario. Soon, however, Baby Bowser wakes, exasperate at Kamek for being "too noisy". He then constantly Ground Pounds Kamek and kicks him aside, before noticing Yoshi and be conscious of him as a "gween donkey". He attacks Yoshi, trying to push Baby Mario off and ride himself. If Baby Mario is saved, Baby Bowser gets mad. Yoshi must dodge Baby Bowser's Ground Pounds and Ground Pound the floor himself, making a shockwave that can hurt the young Koopa King.

Once Baby Bowser is beat after couple hits, Kamek returns, seemingly having recuperated from his punching. He uses his magic on Baby Bowser, causing him to get bigger and fill up the screen. Yoshi then finds himself in the then-destroyed room. And Big Baby Bowser (who destroys his castle --including his room) appears in the distant backdrop. For the final battle, Yoshi had to arrest red Giant Eggs from the Baron von Zeppelins that mount in, while stay away from falling rocks that raze the ground and fireball storms from Big Baby Bowser. During the boss battle, Big Baby Bowser will temporize from the backdrop, and he must punch him with the Giant Eggs to pound him back. After a couple hits, Big Baby Bowser will be charging forward at Yoshi's head on. If he gets very close to the castle, the ground will be ruin and Yoshi will lose a life. After he is hit seven times, Baby Bowser is defeated, returning back to normal. Kamek reappears and oaths requital before disappearing with him. Yoshi then runs up to a small zone where both the stork and Baby Luigi are being consecrated. After, a message says "Thus, due to the marvelous teamwork of the Yoshi clan, the twins are reunited. The captured stork is freed by Yoshi and sets about his duty and finally makes the long-awaited delivery! Thank you, Yoshi! The twins will meet the parents soon!"

The stork is shown in flight greater than the clouds as the credits cycle, finally able to carry him to Baby Mario and Luigi's mother and father. The game finish with an image of Baby Mario and Luigi being adhered by their parents, with “The End”. The screen stands on the image once the music finishes and the system will need to be blasé or reconstituted. The same thing put in with the GBA version unlike the other installments, although the game still be freed following the finishing in two versions of the game.

Trivia[]

  • Baby Bowser is the only boss who needs to be defeated before Kamek casts a spell on him.
  • It's possible to land the last hit on Big Baby Bowser even if his charge destroys the ground Yoshi is standing on, which can result in a softlock or a glitched final cutscene.
  • World 6 is the only world whose final normal level (that being, King Bowser's Castle) uses the Green Yoshi instead of the Dark Blue Yoshi.
  • This is the only boss level which has two consecutive boss battles. (That is, even though both boss battles --in this level-- focus with the same character.)
