"The Kaptain's home is on the highest peak of Crocodile Isle. You'll feel on top of the world if you ever manage to get through his Kremling army and reach the castle!"
Donkey Kong Country 2, Nintendo Player's Guide

K. Rool's Keep is a location in the Donkey Kong series. K. Rool's Keep is located on Crocodile Isle. It is also said to be K. Rool's home. As the area is high up, it is technically frozen.

Games

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

K. Rool's Keep first appears in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.

In the game, K. Rool's Keep is the sixth world in the game itself. It has castle-themed levels, ice-themed levels and even a mine shaft-themed level. At the end of K. Rool's Keep, a cutscene in Stronghold Showdown shows Donkey become kidnapped and is taken to The Flying Krock.

At the end of the game, K. Rool's Keep is shot off the top of Crocodile Isle as the Lost World was having excess energy build-up by Kaptain K. Rool's bulk which blocked the source of energy which powered Crocodile Isle itself.

In the Game Boy Advance version, Kerozene rules K. Rool's Keep and is sent to stop the two monkeys' progress in the world. He is also the boss of the world in this game, replacing the cutscene in the original Super Nintendo version.

Donkey Kong Land 2

K. Rool's Keep reappears in Donkey Kong Land 2.
