Jumping Sudden Death

Jumping Sudden Death is a 1-on-1 minigame exclusive to the Vs. Battle mode in New Super Mario Bros.

Layout[]

The minigame takes place in a sky, with clouds and rainbows in the background. There are hazardous spikes on the bottom of the screen.

Gameplay[]

The aim of the game is that the player has to avoid the spikes and survive the longest. Player 1 controls two Marios at a time, while Player 2 will control two Luigis at a time. Both players get three lives, and landing on the spikes will take out a Bro. Players can tap on the Touch Screen to bounce their Bro up to avoid the spikes. Victory goes to the Bro that survived the longest.
