Jibberjays are multi-colored birds which appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are usually orange, but can also be black, green, yellow, and red. Jibberjays are first encountered in Wild Glide Galaxy as non-playable characters who divulge information regarding how to control Fluzzard. After a while, the Jibberjays will send a letter to Mario to challenge him to a race against their species. Later they are also found in Fleet Glide Galaxy. After completing the race on Wild Glide Galaxy, a Jibberjay appears on Starship Mario as well.
