The Item Space is a space in the Mario Party series.
In Mario Party 2, the space is shaped like a green treasure box, and upon landing on this space, item minigames can be played depending on the board being playing on. In item minigames, a player can obtain common items as well as a variety of rarer items, some shops do not even sell. However, Baby Bowser is featured in these games and may be responsible for the player losing the item minigame, receiving no item.
In Mario Party 3, the space sports a Toad's face on it. Item Spaces feature the same overview as their Mario Party 2 counterparts, however, new features have been added to this space. In addition tohaving a new, wider selection of games, sometimes, Toad or Baby Bowser appear instead, and ask the lander a question; depending on how their question is answered, the lander could receive rare items or possibly nothing.
If the player lands on an Item Space, the player must hit a roulette block that gain one of the three items.
