Ice Meteor

Ice Meteors are objects in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Description[]

Ice Meteors are the direct opposite of Meteors, as they fall from the sky into lava areas to create ice platforms that Mario or Luigi can skate across. The platform left by an Ice Meteor dissipates after a few seconds. The ice platforms are identical to those created by Ice Mario in Super Mario Galaxy.

Ice Meteors appear only in the Shiverburn Galaxy, specifically during the mission Prince Pikante's Peppery Mood, where they fall from the sky into the lava pond on the Ice Magma Skate Planet, allowing Mario or Luigi to skate across to the Launch Star at the end of the planet.
