The Ice Bat is an enemy found in Super Mario Galaxy.

Physical descriptoin
They are similar to the Bats but they're entirely made of ice.
Behavior
They attack by swooping down on Mario (or Luigi) and freezing them. Unlike the Bats, Ice Bats are immune to Spins and are only drifted back by them. They are also dangerous to touch as they can freeze you if you do. The only way to defeat an Ice Bat is with a Fire Flower.
In Super Mario Galaxy
They are commonly found in the Freezeflame Galaxy in the Summit section.
