Physical description[]

A Huge Red Electrokoopa is a large variation of a Red Electrokoopa that, despite its name, wears a dark green shell instead of a red one.

Behavior[]

The Huge Red Electrokoopa can be found sleeping, a trait mainly associated with Snooza Koopas. It does not attack Mario.

In Super Mario Sunshine[]

Like the other Koopa Troopa variants, the Huge Red Electrokoopa is encountered in Pinna Park, specifically during Episode 5: The Runaway Ferris Wheel. Although the Huge Red Electrokoopa is classified as an enemy, only one ever makes an appearance.

In The Runaway Ferris Wheel, the Huge Red Electrokoopa is sleeping on a Chain-Link behind the Ferris Wheel. The electrical discharge emitted by Huge Red Electrokoopa causes the ride to spin uncontrollably. To defeat the Huge Red Electrokoopa, Mario must hit the Flip Panel beneath it. In doing so, the Huge Red Electrokoopa falls into the water, the Ferris Wheel goes returns to moving at normal speed, and a Shine Sprite appears for Mario to collect.
