Huge Icicle

Huge Icicles are a type of object in the New Super Mario Bros. series. They first appear in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Description[]

A Huge Icicle is a variation of a regular icicle. It has the same function of dropping from the ceiling whenever the characters are nearby. Aside from being a larger size, the difference with Huge Icicles is that they can be walked upon. In doing so, certain Huge Icicles may tilt to either the left or right.

Huge Icicles appear in three levels, Freezing-Rain Tower, Icicle Caverns, and Hammerswing Caverns. They act the same as in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Huge Icicles are one of the objects that do not appear in New Super Luigi U.

In the Super Smash Bros. series[]

Huge Icicles are featured as a hazard in Mushroom Kingdom U, a stage which first appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
