Hot Roderick is a boss in Wario Land: Shake It!. Wario must defeat him to earn his emblem.
Battle[]
He appears in a level titled Hot Roderick Race. Hot Roderick zooms past Wario from the right of the screen and from the left, this stunned Wario. He points to where he is going and zooms faster on his car, which Wario falls and jumps on his Unibucket-like vehicle.
In the battle, he throws wrenches; Wario should hit them at the back of his vehicle's fist. Keep doing it repeatedly, until Hot Roderick's car tires, Wario can have a chance to hit him multiple times. Sometimes, he puts his vehicle higher and throws wrenches, a way is the Wario can lean to have the vehicles fist to his car.
While with low life, he runs without being on his car, which Wario should hit it back; one hit can defeat him.
As a result, he is flung to the air, far away in the background seen falling back to the earth.

- His name comes from "Hot Rod" and from the word "Roderick", a German name.
- As he raises his car, it resembles Yoshi's car's transformation.
