Hop or Pop is a 1 vs. 3 mini-game in Mario Party 4.
Gameplay[]
Solo[]
The solo character has to try and pop the three players in the balls. Although the three players can move a little better than the single player who is in the spiked ball, the single player can take advantage of the fact the three players can only hop three times before being stalled for a few seconds. The single player can slow down and jump to better his/her turning. If the single player manages to pop the other three players, the single player wins.
Team[]
The three players must avoid the single player for 60 seconds. The best strategy for the three players is to split up to avoid the risk of the single player taking out multiple players at the same time. The three players are only allowed three hops at a time so they must plan ahead to see which person the single player targets. If any or all of the three players manages to survive until the end, they will win.
