Mario & Luigi

Hooraws are an enemy in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. They appear in Big Massif's dream.

Profile[]

Physical description[]

Hooraws are a small variant of Hooskis with a tuft of red hair, and they wear red pants secured by a black buckle. Their design in the Battle Ring portrays them with dark blue hair and trousers.

Behavior[]

Hooraws can take on various formations that make Mario's Dream World jump and hammer attacks more or less advantageous.

In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team[]

Hooraws are only encountered in Big Massif's dream in Dreamy Wakeport and the Battle Ring. Hooraws often surround Big Massif, Sorrow Fist, Heavy Zest, and Thunder Sass during their respective battles.

Heavy Zest uses his Hooraws to signal whether his target for his headlong fast charge has to jump or not; if the Hooraws jump high, the victim has to stay on the ground; otherwise, the target must jump.

Thunder Sass bounces off his Hooraws before tackling his target, who has to repel him with a hammer strike.

Sorrow Fist uses his Hooraws to determine the timing of his target's counter for the seashell toss attack.

Big Massif has the same tells for his fight, and can stack the Hooraws into a tower and performs a tower stomp attack to create shockwaves and topple the Bros. If the Bros. escape, the Hooraws will buckle under their master's weight and be destroyed, after which they drop him, forcing him to discontinue the attack.

In combat, Hooraws have 28 hit points and a defense of 49 in Big Massif's dream. The Battle Ring variant has 53 hit points and a defense of 94.
