Super Mario

Honey walls are objects in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Description[]

Honey walls are hexagonal platforms coated in honey. They are attached to the sides of walls, and can be climbed only by Bee Mario, who must fly to reach different parts of the walls. Honey walls have their own gravity, since Bee Mario can fly with his feet facing the walls and even ground-pound onto them.

Honey walls appear in four galaxies: the Honeyhive Galaxy, Honeyclimb Galaxy, Gold Leaf Galaxy, and Sand Spiral Galaxy, the latter having only a single honey wall panel.

The Honeyclimb Galaxy has several honey walls on what appears to be a flat hive. The only mission of the galaxy, Scaling the Sticky Wall, has an object where Mario has to climb up the planet using honey walls along the way. The second wall of the second planet features meteors that fall by, and if Mario is hit, he falls off and into a Black Hole. Several Mandibugs appear around the honey walls on the third planet.

Super Mario Galaxy 2[]

Honey walls are a lot less common, since they appear only in Honeyhop Galaxy.
