Hoggus is a harmless and invincible enemy found in Wario Land 4 that has the ability to make his paintings come to life. He appears to be a humanoid pig-like enemy with a red artist hat and a white shirt. He lacks feet, but levitates throughout the air. He can always be seen with his paintbrush and his sketchbook. He only appears in Doodle Woods.
When Wario enters Doodle Woods, Hoggus can be seen flying around painting two different types of pigs: Butatabi and Denden with Butatabi having a spike on its head and goes back and forth while Denden rolls after Wario in his spiky shell. Wario can simply avoid them by defeat them via ramming.
Hoggus cannot be seen in the caves of Doodle Woods as he flies away when Wario enters it. He, himself, does not want to harm Wario when he draws his two pig paintings to life, but wants to show his drawings to Wario.
In the ending credits, Wario and Hoggus can be seen drawing together in a sketchbook, likely making the two become friends at the end of the game.
