Heart Swing

Heart Swing is Princess Peach's Star Swing in Mario Super Sluggers. It replaces her Heart Ball move from Mario Superstar Baseball, as it is now only used while pitching.

Description[]

Upon initiating Heart Swing, Peach draws a heart with her bat and hits the ball, cloaking it with hearts that stun the fielders who try to catch it. The stun effect is ineffective against female characters including Daisy, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, Toadette, Birdo, the Nokis, Dixie Kong, Tiny Kong, and female Miis. If a Magikoopa is nearby but not too close to the hearts, its Magical Catch ability still allows it to potentially catch the ball. If none of the fielders catch the ball, it comes to a stop, and its hearts wear off.
