Hammer Bro is the character representative of his species of the same name, and he has the same physical appearance as a regular Hammer Bro.
Personality traits[]
Hammer Bro is said to be a world-renowned hammer thrower. He shows up at the Mushroom Field daily, where he practices the sport of hammer throwing. While Hammer Bro remains very dedicated at hammer throwing, he has good sportsmanship, and is impressed if someone, specifically the player's character, manages to throw a hammer farther than him.
In Mario Party Advance[]
The player's character can find Hammer Bro at the Mushroom Field. Upon being approached, the Hammer Bro asks the player's character what they are doing at the "Hammer Camp." If questioned, Hammer Bro tells the player's character that others work there constantly to improve their hammer throwing abilities, leading Hammer Bro to label himself as being very skilled at using hammers. Hammer Bro urges the player's character to try out hammer throwing, and if they accept, this starts the quest Hammerama.
During Hammerama, Hammer Bro demonstrates how to throw a hammer before starting a hammer-throwing competition, where the object is to throw the hammer the farthest on a couple of the smaller fields. If the player's character does it farther, Hammer Bro is impressed at their skill and rewards them the Mini B-Ball Gaddget. Right after doing so, Hammer Bro resumes his usual training.
