Guided Bullet Bills are a variant of Bullet Bill and an enemy in Super Mario Sunshine.

Physical description[]

Guided Bullet Bills are featured in either black or blue. The Guided Bullet Bills resemble regular Bullet Bills from Super Mario Sunshine but their nose blinks red like a Purple Bullet Bill's. A blue Guided Bullet Bill's nose does not blink.

Behavior[]

Like Purple Bullet Bills, Guided Bullet Bills home in on Mario. If he jumps onto a blue Guided Bullet Bill, it releases either a 1-Up Mushroom or a Water Bottle.

In Super Mario Sunshine[]

Guided Bullet Bills are only encountered during the final boss fight against Bowser and Bowser Jr.. Here, they are shot out of Bowser Jr.'s ship in a high arc. If a Guided Bullet Bill notices Mario, it begins to chase him. Only two Guided Bullet Bills are launched at first, but as the bathtub takes increasing damage, the ship launches out eight Guided Bullet Bills at a time. A blue Guided Bullet Bill is more rare, and the ship only fires out one at a time.
