Grand Canal (ウキウキタウン Ukiuki taun?, Happy Town) is the initial board in Mario Party 7. Discounting the board Bowser's Enchanted Inferno, this board --Grand Canal-- follows the classic Mario Party series formula (that is, passing a Star Space and trading 20 coins for a star).
Description[]
Unlike other boards in single play in Mario Party 7, this board retains the classic go around the board looking for Toadsworth, passing a Star Space, and trading 20 coins for a star. Every five turns there is a chance that Bowser will destroy the bridges, replacing them with his own, which have all Bowser spaces on them. They are fixed after a certain amount of turns. Any character spaces on the bridges that were destroyed will not be replaced when the bridges are fixed.
Solo Cruise[]
On Solo Cruise, the player --or the opponent-- wins by collecting 2 stars (by passing a Star Space). Both stars are 20 coins each.
