Gorilla Gone

Gorilla Gone (Wheresim Gonium) is a special ability used by Chunky Kong in Donkey Kong 64. The potion for this ability can be purchased from Cranky's Lab in Crystal Caves for seven Banana Coins.

History[]

To use Gorillia Gone, the player must locate a pad with Chunky's face on it and press the button to turn Chunky invisible (however, his hat and vest will still be visible). In this form, Chunky will be able to sneak by enemies and spotlights. He can even make invisible items visible to him (including a Golden Banana). Gorilla Gone wears off by either using a Bananport pad or jumping into a Tag Barrel.

Gorilla Gone is also most notably used in the final fight against King Krusha K. Rool where he turns himself invincible after running off the ring ropes. Chunky must use Gorilla Gone to make K. Rool visible in order to attack him later with a combination of Hunky Chunky and Primate Punch.
