Gorgons are bat and pig-like enemies that appear in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are stronger versions of Enigmas, and are only encountered on the Sunken Ship.
Battle[]
Gorgons only appear in battle alongside other enemies and can be troublesome using many strong magical attacks such as Diamond Saw.
Gorgons are weak to Thunder moves so Mallow's Thunderbolt is effective against them.

Gorgons were three snake-haired sisters in Greek mythology. The victims who looked at them in the eye turned to stone.
