Goomhilde is a minor character that appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Although she technically first appears in this game, she isn't officially named as "Goomhilde" until the remake, Super Mario RPG.
History[]
Goomhilde was first seen on Rose Way where she was the captain of the Goomba Division for Bowser's Minions, led by Bowser, who attempted to take back his castle. However, during their journey, the divisions started to leave with Goomhilde and her Goombas being one of them. Goomhilde would eventually settle down in Monstro Town retiring from Bowser's forces and running an Item Shop. Bowser wonders what happened to her, and Goomhilde apologizes to Bowser for leaving, stating her reason that she was too scared to fight Smithy. Goomhilde says she is happier now and even has children in the form of triplets. Goomhilde hopes that Bowser could forgive her and says he can at least sell him useful items in return. Bowser does so and wishes Goomhilde the best in her life.
Goomhilde's shop carries the usual items as the other shops. Staying true to her word, Goomhilde also sells weapons and armor, but only the Spiked Chomp and Courage Shell, which both only benefit Bowser.
