Gold Bowser Statues are golden statues of Bowser and enemies that first appeared in Super Mario World. They appear in many of the game's castles.
Appearances[]
Super Mario World[]
Gold Bowser Statues appear in Super Mario World as enemies found in castles. Unlike the Gray Bowser Statues, Gold Bowser Statues do not shoot fireballs. Instead, they jump around Mario or Luigi and damage them by contact, and the player can hop on them with a Spin Jump, much like Thwimps. But unlike Thwimps, Gold Bowser Statues follow Mario or Luigi. This makes it hard to avoid them near lava pits, but the player can defeat the statues by luring them into lava.
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3[]
Gold Bowser Statues apppear on Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, but only on Bowser's Last Stand, a World-e level. They act the same as the gold statues from Super Mario World.
Super Mario Run[]
A Gold Bowser Statue appears as a decoration for the player's kingdom in Super Mario Run. It can be obtained by getting a reward in the official My Nintendo website.
